I fired this bad boy up and all 4 dogs scrambled over eachother and took off! I guess animals innately know that they dont want to be near loud, snapping electricity. I hope this works for bears and other wild animals or humans when i go hiking! Easy to assemble, and looks like a regular trekking pole. I am pleased with my purchase.

One of our neighbors dogs accidentally got out and headed towards my grandchildren. I turned on cane, and the noise “ alone”quickly made the dog turned around and headed back to his home! It’s worth buying for protection.

I bought this as protection. I walk my dog and have only had to use this once just for the sound it makes to deter other dogs that are aggressive and aren't harnessed. It works. Use caution not to drop it. I have bought several as gifts to encourage my friends to walk more and feel safe. It came with a USB charger cord, car adapter and a holster for your belt. It's worth every penny I spent.

I have never had to use it as a Stun Gun because the Zap Enforcer makes a very intimidating sound. Once I had a German Shepard following me while I was on my Adult Trike. I fired the Enforcer and the dog instantly dropped back and stopped following me. Other dogs, including a Pit Bull got really close to my dogs while I was walking them at night.. The Pit Bull got scared and immediately departed when the light from the Enforcer came on. The other dogs were scared because of the sound it made. I feel very safe with the Enforcer, day or night.

What is with all the irresponsible dog owners? This has solved our problem. My dogs, trained, well behaved now can be protected from people who don’t have a clue about their dogs. As they yell “my dogs friendly” as their dog attacks my dogs…we fire this up and the sound alone makes their dog jump back.

This is exactly what I’d hoped! The loud sound is a repellent in itself! Unleashed dogs near it and immediately turn away! It is great for my morning walks- I feel so safe with the hiking staff as my walking buddy!!
